Trail Ride at the range

Travis' friends let us spend the night at their summer ranch in our trailer, we went to look for some deer and really enjoyed the scenery. This is the place that has some of Travis' favorite lifetime memories. It was fun to hear him tell us the stories of his family going to get wood and hunting up there when he was young. This is what his "Earth" in the next life will look like. I think it will be heavenly.
This is looking at the range from the northern end.
Kennedy throws the funniest fits, Kody is like- What, its her not me...
Kennedy loves her Papa
Kass is such a cutie. she is a lifesaver when it comes to the babies. She can keep them happy for at least a few minutes.

We went to china town, this is looking back off of the very steep road the babies and I drove on. I strapped them into the carseats and they both fell asleep. I actually got to read a few chapters of my book.
There is a deer inbetween the trees on the left side of the picture, dad went and flushed them out. No one believed Kass when she said it was a buck, she was right!

China town. The picture is not dirty, the flecks are snow!
This was the first time I had seen it, I have heard about it for 17 years. It was an amazing sight but it was extremely cold- about 30 degrees.
My dad didn't want me to get to close to the edge. He stood back a ways and held the horses.
The girls were troopers, seriously, it was cold on top of the world.

Proof that I drove up and down the way to steep trails to get there!
The top of the world, looking out towards the wasatch mountains. It was beautiful. Thank you Trav for taking us and for Dad and Tonya for joining us. It was a great weekend. No cell phones, just peace and memories old and new.
