Christmas at our house

Every year we have the tree crash at least once. We made it all of the way to Christmas day this year. Kass was getting a present from behind the tree and over it went. we got it on video and Travis had to pause to take a picture before we stood it back up and cleaned up the broken ornemants. Next year we will have plastic ornaments only! (It was pretty funny)
Kassidy's favorite present- Iron Chef America for the WII
Kennedy was loving opening the presents, she loved her new dolls (she got 4)
Kennedy also thouroghly enjoyed all of Kody's presents. He really liked the packages
Miranda, Kennedy and the new tent
Movie night
My sweet baby boy
The Christmas aftermath- time for a nap
The one armed WII showdown
Grandma and Grandpa came over for breakfast. Mom had to fix my haircut job!
Grandma and Kody

Christmas Eve at the grandparents

Kassidy plays Mrs. Clause on Christmas Eve every year, she picks out some of her toys and gives them to each of her cousins, its very sweet. She looks forward to it every year.
It was convenient that Kennedy and Kody got the stuff that was already theirs!
Kassidy and Abigail
Kennedy was digging the chocolate fountain. This was one of the few times she dipped something other than her fingers into it!
Kody can officially climb the stairs. He is also pulling himself up on the furniture and figuring out that he can walk along the couch a bit. Dang it.

Lunch at Maddox

We go to Maddox for lunch on Christmas Eve, Kennedy thought it was a lot of fun. Dad is teasing her with the mint stick...
French Fries- yummmmm
Its OK Dad, I won't eat all of your food.
me and the kiddos
Kennedy eating her first beat- she finished it. I am glad that Kassidy's wonderful eating habits are wearing off on her.

The Volcano

Kassidy had to make a Volcano for science class. She and her daddy had a blast- please note the coco powder on the mountain to simulate erosion.
I just thought this was the cutest thing
the volcano creators
The process, the kitchen was a mess, my cutting board was trashed, they had a blast

December fun

I have to say that These are the cutest kids ever!
This really is level, just not in the picture. I found this picture and put it above my door. my thoughts go this way, "Be still and know that I am the Lord, Be still and know that I have a plan, I know what your life will entail and I will help you to get there. Be still and know that I love you, Know that I have been mindful of you and your struggles. I know that you will be ok, that you will hold these babies in your arms, I know that you will make it back to me and I know that this life will have its trials for you but I am here, you are in my arms, you are safe, loved and cherished. Be still and know that I am the Lord."
Thats what this picture entails for me.
I found matching dresses, Kennedy spilled on hers right before church, but I got the picture.
If he walks, I will trip him. So there.
Mom, come this way, come on mom, this way
Kennedy and Easton. (Easton is 6 months older than Kennedy and Kenny is already taller than her. Hee hee hee.)
Kassidy trapped Kennedy in her high chair and put pigtails in her hair. Kennedy thinks that Kass is the greatest thing in the world. Which she is.

Off to Vegas

Kody is getting ready to head to Vegas to watch Grandpa in the team roping.
Kody's first plane ride, he did great
Kassidy and Kennedy had a lot of fun playing and coloring on the plane.
Kody thinks grandpa is really cool. He loved watching the horses and cows
Kody has a thing for hats. He was sure that he could get grandpas hat
Kassidy is grandpas princess.
Kody was playing with his reflection, it was really funny to watch him.

Las Vegas 2

Kennedy has been fighting a cold for a month. We have her on her second course of antibiotics, an inhaler, a decongestant ..... Kody spiked his first fever 2 hours before we took off. He is on an antibiotic too. Kennedy's coughing ended with throwing up all over me, twice, Licorice. Then after I changed, Kody joined the throwing up on me too. They did great on the plane. I put Kody next to Kennedy in the truck, she plays with Kody and tried to tickle him, in the process, she scratched his face. We called him scarface the rest of the trip.

He doesn't feel good but Kass is having a great time. Its good for her to be the center of attention sometimes, I think that she feels a little bit overlooked since the babies came.
Kennedy is a little terror in the restaurants (which is why we don't go). She heads straight for the silverware and the sugar packets
Kass took the camera for a few minutes.
Kody's first lemon. He was not impressed.
Spoons, I need more spoons....
Papa and the princesses
Dad would count to three then put Kennedy over his shoulder, after a few times she would just throw herself over his shoulder, it was funny.
Kass is quite the bowler. She does better on the WII though, the ball isn't as heavy.
Kennedy has a fascination with shoes, she will put on anyone's shoes and try to walk around.
"Scar Face"
Ha- I got the hat
Kassidy, deciding what to order. She ordered a salad then ate my prime rib
Kennedy had to touch this horse every time we passed it. She would pet its face just like she does our horses.
This is a horse that Travis wouldn't make look small. too bad its bronze.
