The surgery went well. I will be dizzy for a few days. The surgery was a stapendotomy, they took out the stapes bone in my middle ear and replaced it with a titanium prostetic. They also lasered off the calcium deposits on the middle ear. This is an inherited disease (thanks dad) called otosclerosis. I will get the other one done in November. I will have packing in my ear until June 11th. and I am half deaf in the other ear. my point is that talking on the phone will be a challenge.
