I had the last blog ready to go a few days ago. Turns out they removed the hammer bone, put in a prosthetic and put cartilage somewhere. It took me about 5 hours to come out of the anesthesia and I can only stand for about 3-5 minutes. the pain isn't bad, I am just unsteady and lightheaded. The MD said my ear canal is shaped funny, that's probably why I have had so many ear infections.
