Adoption
I had the opportunity to speak to a group of birthmother's and tell them our adoption story. I told them of the miracles that lead to our adoption. I told them about the emotional hell that we went through. I told them that our birthmother was an angel in our eyes and that Kennedy was a gift and that she was meant to be our daughter. I testified that I know that Kody would not be here if Kennedy wasn't. I expressed our fear and our resolve when they asked about our birthfather. I told them about the amazing gift of the temple sealing and how awesome it was to have all of my children there. I told them that there was no difference in my heart between my adopted baby and my home grown babies. They all had their unique struggles getting to us. I feel so honored to have been able to tell those birthmother's how much they will mean to someone else' life and how much their babies family will love them for eternity. I am so grateful for our birthmother, for her sacrifice and her love for our sweet little Kennedy. We love adoption. We are so grateful for our caseworkers and the love that they showed us. I was so thankful for this opportunity. Just wanted you to know.
