Kennedy arrived bright and early saturday morning. She is beautiful. she is just what we thought she would be. We arrived saturday night and met her, she opened her big eyes and looked at us, apparently, it was the first time that she had been awake all day. she waited for us to get there I guess. We are so grateful to have her.
She was on oxygen for a while and her xray showed patchy infiltrates and so she was started on antibiotics. They did cultures, we will get the results tomorrow. If it is OK, we will be able to take her out of the hospital. If not, she will be in the hospital for 7 days. The doctor thinks that she will be able to leave tomorrow. Her apgars were 8 and 9, breathsounds are clear (yes I listened) and she is eating well.
Take care, Love ya, Kristin
