Kennedy is 2

The last 2 years have been packed with fun. Kennedy has been such a blessing in our lives. We feel like the luckiest parents in the world to have such wanderful Kids. Happy Birthday baby.

Birthday dinner at Olive Garden, we made it almost the entire meal...

We went grocery shopping and Kennedy thought it was so fun to have her own shopping cart.

Kennedy loves to play with hair. If she is not falling asleep with her hair in her hand, she is holding someone elses.

The hospital staff gave Kennedy a flower- she is trying to blow it to get it to spin like daddy did.

Ready for surgery (last week). The hospital gave her a bear and a little blanket. It was very cute. She is doing really well. She still has a little bit of pain but its not too bad. She had ice cream for dinner last night and went to bed with a popcycle the night before. Hopefully it doesn't become a habit!

Kennedy's Surgery

surgery went well. Kennedy is miserable but hopefully this will end the runny nose! Everyone at the hospital commented that they just wanted to take her home she was so cute. She HATED the IV and mostly pulled it out all by herself!

Papa and Nana visit

Nana and Papa came for a visit. The kids had a great time playing with them.

Kennedy gave lots of kisses. SHe had fun playing with Nana and the ball. She has a pretty good through!

Papa and Kody got into the action. When dad got there, Kennedy ran up to him, "Hi Papa" and gave him a big hug. Travis and Dad gave her a blessing. Kennedy was so quiet. She was sitting on Papa's lap with her arms kindof folded and she just listened. It was awesome. She is having her tonsils out tomorrow. We have stocked up on the popcycles.

Kody is getting better at the walking thing.

We had cake and icecream to celebrate the babies birthdays. We fed Kody the cake this time.

We were making dinner and I gave Kody some black beans, which he loves. Travis questioned the wisdom in letting him have them. I had to scrub him off in the sink but he ate really well!

Last night I asked Kody if he wanted to walk, I held his fingers and we walked down the hall. Kennedy ran out of the kitchen "I want to walk" so she backed up to me with her arms out and we "walked" around the living room. It was the cutest thing.

Kody's First Birthday

Kody's First birthday is today. I can't believe that it has been a year since this little angel came into our lives. He has been such a blessing to us. We are so honored to have him as our son. We celebrated yesterday. We were lucky to have Travis' family and Grandma Phyllis and Grandpa Lee celebrate with us.

This was supposed to be a Barn, I should have done it red, oh well, it served its purpose.
I had to keep him from touching the flame, it must be a boy thing!

Decided it was super yummy and that it made every one laugh when he started making a mess, so, he made a bigger one!

Then he tossed it all on the floor and laughed

Kassidy helped me decorate the pasture, she did a great job.

Mom was so great, she took the camera and now I actually have a picture of me with my kids, thanks mom.

Kody was content as can be with Grandpa Lee

Kody thought Grandma Phyllis was pretty great too.

Kennedy was very helpful in getting Kody's presents open, she was pretty sure that they were all for her, she didn't want him to play with them.

He had a great first birthday. Kennedy's will be in 3 weeks- she will be 2 already. my how time flies.

Easter

We had a super fun Easter. Kody and Kennedy started to get the hang of finding the Easter eggs, right up until they figured out that the eggs had stuff in them! Kennedy would stop, open it up, eat whatever was in it, give some to Kody and thne move onto the next egg. I think the candy was their favorite part.

Kody figured out hoe to climb into Kassidy's little recliner. He was so proud of himself.
Kennedy was trying to teach Kennedy what the easter eggs were all about. She is starting to figure out what sharing is. we still need to work on it a bit though.

The Mote grandkids, all 13 of them (Ryder is hiding in the house because he is only 6 weeks old!)
