We love where we live, it is even nicer in the fall.
The horses are still enjoying the grass (they are all a little fat)

Lotion

This is what happens when my child can reach the stuff on the counter, I'm feeding Kody and she is using the "lotion"

Its a great way to buy yourself a bath- yes, that is sour cream that she is using as her lotion.

October fun

Kennedy makes the funniest faces. She has such a fun personality. She loves to give hugs, wave bye bye and holler out the door for Dad.
My cousin Andy stopped bye for a visit. It was so great to see her. She is so great.

Kennedy has yogurt all over her face- it was tofunny.

She decided that she wanted to make a layered marble cake. She made a cherry chip and chocolate cake. It was really yummy

Kody is quite the ham. Its easier to take pictures of him when Kennedy is asleep because she wants to play with the camera.

More cattle drive- Kass made it all day (7 hours in the saddle)

Kennedy wanted to get in on the cow action, they have named one of the cows Marvin cause he lets them pet him. I keep reminding Kass that we are going to eat him and petting him is not a good idea, She said that he is the one that we will sell.

Crawling

Kody has figured out how to do the army crawl. He isn't getting very far yet but he is making progress. I had him standing up yesterday and Kennedy walked over- took his hand and started to walk the other way. She was sure that he needed to go where she was going. She was pretty dissappointed that he couldn't go.

Kass spent the day on the cattle drive with her dad. She rode the entire time, her bottom was sore today but she had a great time. She was mad at me for not letting her miss another day of school so that she could go today. The "boys" were calling her Butch- I told her that it was a good thing she is so cute, most girls couldn't pull off Butch as a nick name- Its better to add the Kassidy. They were calling her horse Sundance. She was pretty proud of her new nickname.

October

Kody is 6 months old today. We measured him last night, He is 18 pounds and 28 inches. He has one tooth that has broken through and he is on the verge of crawling. He is so happy, he likes to touch everything now and study it a bit. He has started to pull his sister's hair. He loves to laugh at Kennedy, I swear they are having their own conversations. Its really fun to watch and its going way to quickly.
