Her fathers Daughter

We went outside to help Travis with something and Kennedy headed into the shed, she grabbed the halter and dragged it to the door, then she went back and got the saddle blanket and tried to carry it out the door. She cried when we headed into the house.

We are teaching her sign language and More is her newest sign. Everytime we walk past the garden she does the sign and we have to go and get her some tomatos. (thats my girl)

We picked some nectarines yesterday and she started to dig in. We took some into the house and she decided that she needs to have a bite of each one. SO, if we give you a nectarine, its just a love bite missing....

Kody and Kennedy

Have I mentioned that I have the cutest kids in the world?

Kennedy climbed onto the piano bench and started to play the piano. I think she is destined to be a pianist.

Farwell

We had Alan's farwell in Evanston. We had a great time, he gave a great talk. We are all very proud of him and the decision he has made to serve the Lord.

Alan, Helen, Travis and Kennedy
Yes, she is trying to eat the table
Kass was having a great time playing with her cousins
Check out that little girl runnin. I love the determined look on her face.
Sticking the tongue out is a new thing, just like her Grandma Phyllis, concentrating hard
Cousins. (I love how the water was frozen in place in the picture- I love my camera.)
Kennedy mostly ate olives for lunch. All of them went on her fingers first.

Family reunion

We had the Ford family reunion on Saturday, it was 90ish on Friday and 75 on Saturday so we broke out the jackets. It was so great to see everybody and celebrate Grandmas birthday. There were a ton of new babies around, Grandma would have been pleased. We took a lot of pictures, (big suprise.)
Kody has discovered his hand- and chews on it regularly!
My pretty little girl, she is growing up so fast.
Nana and Papa and the babies

New member of the family

We will call him George. (like the abominal snowbunny when he picked up daffy duck...Just what I always wanted. My own little bunny rabbit. I will name him George, and I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him.....)

My wonderful mom saw the need to buy me a super cool, incredibly addictive camera. (Cannon Rebel 15.1 mega pixel with extra lenses, soooo cool)

I received it Friday night, opened it and charged the battery. Saturday morning to Sunday night, I had taken 165 pictures already. The shutter speed is amazing. I look at something and can capture it at that moment- no wait- its so cool. I am having way too much fun. I am going to set up a little studio in my basement to take portraits.

(maybe I can get good enough to make some money- we will see)

Thanks Mom, I love Christmas in August. I promise to provide you with lots and lots of Pictures of your beautiful grandchildren.

Kody turns 4 months old

Kody turned 4 months old this week. He is just growing like a weed. He was 16 pounds and 26 inches. He is just 6 inches shorter than his sister. The doctor says that he is just doing perfect. He is such a sweet, well tempered baby. He loves his sisters (when they are not torturing him). We are starting him on cereal and he is not sure if he likes it or not, I am just hoping that it helps him sleep for more than 3 hours!!!
Kennedy needs to stand on anything and everything. She has started puckering and giving kisses which is nice, no more slober kisses. Kassidy and Kody are the recipients of most of the kisses.

"Mom, I am not a good luck charm, make her stop rubbing my head"
Kennedy has started to drag her brother by his feet to help him be where she is. We are trying to help her understand that she needs to not drag him around.

Grandpa and Nana dropped off a ton (literally) of cloths from my sister for Kody. He is set for like 4 years. Kennedy showed off her cool 4 wheeler skills.
HI, I am hoping my eyes stay blue for my mommy. I am 4 months old and too stickin' cute.
Kass was dressing her brother up- just for blackmail pictures I think.

Kennedy and Kody

Kody is just getting so big
This is the "give it to me now please" look
Could he be any cuter honestly?
Yes, Yes he could- its just a "Check me out, I'll melt your heart" look
Kennedy loves to climb into everything, she waived bye bye to me after she climbed into her chair
Smiley sweet baby girl

Lagoon

Lagoon day with the Family. The kids all want to ride the big rides, I have decided that I am getting to old for this. Travis still likes the thrill of the rides, I just want to puke. I think my days of spinning and flying high are about over..... too bad I am not sad huh. Poor Kennedy and Kody will have to have sissy take them on Wicked and the Spider.
A little bit of fum in the water
Our girls
Kennedy's first merry go round- she was really excited until it started to move
Kass and Kennedy
Miranda and Kassidy and Kennedy with her new harness (it was very helpful, she could walk but we still had a hold of her)

Kennedy liked watching the rides, she couldn't quite figure them out though
Kody just slept and loved on whomever had him.

My Kody

We spent Friday at Lagoon. We had a blast but more on that later.
Kody had fallen asleep in his carrier. He woke up and I noticed him looking at me. He had a hint of a smile and his eyes locked on mine for almost 5 minutes. He stared at me and it was as if I could hear his thoughts. "Mom, there you are, I missed you. I am so glad to be with you finally. I waited for so long but now I am here and I love you."
He made my heart skip a beat and filled me with Joy. What an awesome little spirit our son has. I am so grateful to have him here.

Thanks Carrie for taking the picture.
