Disappointing news

Our Birthfather has appealed the judges decision to revoke his parental rights. We are, of course, disappointed. We are looking forward to having this process over. We would appreciate all of your prayers. There is not a court date set. We will let you know.

Kennedy's coos

This is my first attempt at loading a video. I hope it works. Kennedy is developing quite the fun personality. She loves her mommy and daddy and sister. Kassidy loves to give her Kisses and is always so proud when she makes Kennedy smile. there are times when I look at her and I swear she is Kassidy. It is amazing how much alike they look.

Kass 6 weeks

2 months

Today we are celebrating 2 months with our angel Kennedy. Its hard to believe that it has been 2 whole months since Lily placed this angel in our arms.
Dad took Kennedy to the doctor for her check up today. She is feeling pretty crumy. She had to get 5 shots. She is having a rough evening.

Kass and dad rode horses last night. They played tag and follow the leader. Kennedy loved watching them.

Grandma Phyllis cuddlied me to sleep. Grandpa George just talks to me.

Kassidy had a great birthday. She played with her cousins and friends. She got way too many presents. I think she is a little bit spoiled. She has decided she wants to be an inventor and get a pattent. I can't believe that she is growing up so fast. I swear she was just a toddler. Time is just flying by.

Inspiration

Birthday

Kassidy is drawing her Fashion Designs

I had a great birthday yesterday. Kass had swimming lessons, so we started our day there. Kassidy, Rhonda and Miranda suprised me with a birthday lunch. Kass, Kennedy and Travis gave me earrings and some shoes. The earrings are black hills gold butterflies, my favorite. Kass is getting ready for her Birthday next week. She is having a Hanah Montana party and we are playing some Little mommy games with babies. She is such a great big sister. Kennedy settles right down when Kass or Miranda pick her up. I have to remind Kass to let Kennedy sleep and not smother her with Kisses. Kennedy smiled at me when I was getting her ready this morning. It was a great way to start the day. She is cooing a bit now. She likes to have conversations with with us. She is pretty cute with her little chubby cheeks. Her thighs are transforming into rolls.

We are having so much fun with her. Our family is so blessed.

Rock Chip compliments of UDOT. Its bigger than a silver dollar. They patched it for me, we'll see if it holds.

Bad News / Good News

Well the bad news is that we are finalizing our adoption in October IN MICHIGAN. The good news is that we don't have to go!!!

Thursday

Kass is taking swim lessons and loving it. She is hoping to get a pool for her birthday next week. Kennedy has learned to blow spit bubbles. She thinks its pretty fun. Kass has been going to a back hand spring camp. She is getting really good at them and is having a blast. There was a beautiful rainbow the other day out the back yard.

New Pictures

Kennedy got to meet Grandma Phyllis and Granpa Lee today. Saturday she met Uncle Allen. He is the one that Kennedy is named after. Friday Grandma Marlene stopped by. They all fell in love with our little angel.

Grandma Phyllis brought Kassidy some pearls from Hawaii. I think we need to go there now.

Great news

Our birthfathers rights were terminated this morning. We are so excited. We will have her sealed to us November 8th.

Summer

Well, summer is finally here. The garden is in ad the flowers are blooming. Rhonda had a shower for Kennedy, mostly to show her off I think. We had lots of great friends and family come. It was a great day. Kassidy is so happy that it is summer. She has been playing with her friends everyday. Travis refenced his pastures. Its amazing hpw far we have come in the 13 years that we have been here. Kennedy is doing great. She is starting to discover more of the world around her. She loves to study peoples faces. She is so pretty. We are having so much fun with her. Kassidy kisses her all of the time.
